Today, Jeanne Jackson looks at the Emmy Awards and, justifiably, wonders about things televised. But also she disses a great TV show.

Project Runway (tonight on Bravo) isn’t just a fashion show. One of Spot-on’s favorite software engineers loves it. Why? Because it’s about taking an idea and making a product people want to buy. Fashion, software – the same in this respect.

Project Runway is also a great cross-media event. It’s spawned tons of of on-line commentary and has its very own – equally original – website, BloggingProjectRunway. That’s today HotSpot. Enjoy!
