Jackson Notice

In tech circles, the phrase “easter egg” is often used to describe a click-through or feature on a website or video game that takes those in the know – insiders and friends – to a special window or pop-up that isn’t obvious to the casual user. Sunday being Easter, the image – a little chick peeping out of an egg – is appropriate for our purposes.

Here at Spot-on.com we have a different kind of Easter Egg today: Our latest writer Jeanne Jackson has just popped up on the masthead.

Jeanne joins us from Virginia’s Shenendoah Valley, a once mostly rural part of the world, now – sigh – considered a Washington, D.C. “ex-burb.” Jeanne has a decidedly original point of view, a lot to say and a funny, honest way of saying it. You’ll enjoy her writing.

In other site news, Josh Trevino has left Spot-on. We’ll miss his wit, his gift for argument and his sharp observations and we wish him the very best in his next endeavor.
