There’s lots, lots, lots to talk about here at Spot-on today.

First, of course, is our fabulous new spring look: This brand new page and some brand new features we’ve built into the site to make it easier for you readers to get around.

This include our email newsletter: A nice, friendly digest of what we’re doing and why you should care, delivered weekly to your email box. Interested? Sign up here Also new: Our daily HotSpot, a pointer to cool things we see and read on the web that we think you’ll find interesting.

We are also growing. Today, please welcome Nicole Martinelli who joins us from Milan, Italy. Okay, she joins us in Milan where she’ll be giving us an idea of how Europeans see Americans and themselves. Nicole, who was born here, also edits and freelances from Italy. She’s got a sharp mind and an even shaper pencil – you’ll enjoy her work.

Don’t think new additions mean the established folks are slacking off. Hardly.

Josh Trevino’s been swapping email with Conservative columnist Michelle Malkin over the very odd – Josh quotes Alice “curiouser and curiouser” case of Claude Allen, the former White House domestic policy advisor.

Meanwhile, Deborah Klosky and Matthew Holt provide their views of our health care system. One’s theory – that’s Matthew. Another is practice – that’d be Deb.
