Blushing Hall

Two years ago this week, on a rainy weekend a whole lot of people – most of them women marrying women and men marrying men – left their hearts here in San Francisco.
So, every year for the past two years, San Francisco City Hall has lit itself up in honor of Valentine’s Day and, well, in honor of love and loving. This year, we even got a full moon in the deal.
This photo was taken by Mike Strickland – aka SFMike – who graciously said we can have it in honor of the occasion and all that.
This is also a chance to refer you to our archives of that weekend and the court cases it launched.
A feminist look at gay marriage, Free At Last? and this look at Gavin Newsom’s first steps on to the national stage A Star is Born may be of interest.
